CUFI in Action

Dear Friend,

We in Christians United for Israel have the easier job.  We don't face the dangers and struggles confronting Israel's soldiers as they patrol their homeland's hostile borders.  But we do have an important mission.  We have our own fight against Israel's enemies right here at home.  And when it comes to this battle, we are not afraid to walk directly into the lion's den. We stand with and for Israel where we are needed and when we are needed, regardless of who seeks to intimidate us.cufi on campus in action

Last month, CUFI on Campus held events at two campus with very active BDS  (Boycott, Divest and Sanction) movements -- the University of Toledo and Columbia University. Needless to say not everyone welcomed us.  But when the protesters got up and walked out of our event in Toledo, CUFI's Outreach Coordinator Kasim Hafeez didn't skip a beat. He continued to deliver his message, and the audience filled in the seats that the protesters vacated.  And our Diversity Outreach Coordinator Dumisani Washington sat late into the night with some Columbia students who had formerly supported BDS, but are now reconsidering after hearing his powerful message.  CUFI on Campus also held 35 events on other campuses across the country where we taught thousands of college students how and why they should stand with Israel.

While some of our staff was confronting Israel's enemies on the campus front lines, others were busy building our organization ever larger and more influential.  Pastors are the gatekeepers to the pews so we focus tremendous energy on briefing church leaders so they can share the Biblical and political truths about Israel with their congregants. Last month, our field team briefed thousands of pastors at 7 Pastor's Briefings and educated thousands of Christians through 8 Nights to Honor Israel and 14 Standing with Israel events.

cufi sunday 2015 emIn addition, last month we held our seventh annual CUFI Sunday. Over 1,450 churches in all 50 states and 75 countries around the world united together in prayer and action for Israel. Among the churches hosting CUFI Sunday were some that have been forced underground due to persecution in their home countries. None-the-less these individuals did not allow any government or terrorist to dictate their prayers and signed up for CUFI Sunday and received pro-Israel
literature and teaching resources through our website.

In the coming months we will continue building our organization and confronting Israel's detractors while simultaneously preparing for our 10th annual Washington Summit. When we arrive in Washington, DC on July 13th, Congress will likely be debating President Obama's agreement with Iran. This is sure to be our largest and most impactful gathering ever. We will be joined by elected officials, presidential candidates, leading theologians, and members of the press. We will take our message to Capitol Hill with more vigor and strength than ever before. We pray that you will join us. If you have not registered yet please click here or call our office at (210) 477-4714.

Remember this truth: Christians United for Israel exists for such a time as this. Join us as we do all we can to stand united in the gap on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.

Blessings to you and those you love,

Pastor John Hagee - National Chairman Christians United for Israel David Brog - Executive Director Christians United for Israel

The Israel Pledge

We believe that the Jewish people have a right to live in their ancient land of Israel, and that the modern State of Israel is the fulfillment of this historic right.

We maintain that there is no excuse for acts of terrorism against Israel and that Israel has the same right as every other nation to defend her citizens from such violent attacks.

We pledge to stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel and to speak out on their behalf whenever and wherever necessary until the attacks stop and they are finally living in peace and security with their neighbors.
