Christians United for Israel

Dear Friend,

CUFI has been in high gear for the past month. With our Washington Summit next week, our field team has been crisscrossing the country, from California to Massachusetts and from Texas to   Minnesota, seeking to ensure that when we meet our elected officials and hear from presidential candidates, our voice is as loud and impactful as possible.

Even though school is out for the summer, the CUFI on Campus team has been spent several weeks on the road meeting with the next group of student-leaders - the next passionate, brilliant and indefatigable young men and women who will go into some of the most hostile anti-Israel battlegrounds in the country and proclaim the truth to students, faculty and the local community.

Likewise, CUFI’s field coordinators have continued to go into churches and community centers across the country in order to ensure that ours are the most educated, informed and prepared activists in the country.

For example, CUFI’s Western Region Coordinator, Randy Neal, put together an exceptional event in Las Vegas the city’s sixth Night to Honor Israel in as many years which featured former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Irving Roth, a Holocaust survivor and educator.

In our central region, Pastor Lyndon Allen organized Nashville’s first Night to Honor Israel, during which more than 500 Christians from across the city came together in support of the Jewish state. One of the highlights of this historic event was Allen’s presentation to local religious leaders of a recently passed Nashville City Council Resolution expressing the city’s steadfast support for Israel.

And on the east coast, hundreds of people joined CUFI Regional Coordinator Pastor Victor Styrsky at Agape Faith Church in North Carolina to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and hear from Gary Bauer, a member of the CUFI Board of Directors. This too was the first Night to Honor Israel held in that city.

Across the country, our field team members are bringing God’s message of love and support for Israel to all who will listen. But our largest test comes in just a few weeks’ time, and we need you there with us.

Next week, we will host our 10th annual Washington Summit. This will be our most important event to date.

Our community, church and political leaders listen to what CUFI has to say, because when we speak, we speak for over 2.1 million people. And when a member of Congress sees ten or twenty constituents walk into their office for a meeting, that has a priceless impact and resonance. In short: CUFI’s impact is directly and inextricably tied to the quality and quantity of our membership.

You are the backbone of CUFI and the US-Israel relationship. You are what makes us effective, and what enables us to ensure the bond between the US and Israel transcends any one President, any one moment in time, and any one issue.

Right up until the first day of our Washington Summit, we will continue to barnstorm across America in order grow Israel’s base of support in our great nation. And we will do the same, the day after the Summit concludes. But during those two days in Washington we need you to come to our nation’s capital and stand with us, as we stand with Israel.

Blessings to you and those you love,

Pastor John Hagee - National Chairman Christians United for Israel David Brog - Executive Director Christians United for Israel

The Israel Pledge

We believe that the Jewish people have a right to live in their ancient land of Israel, and that the modern State of Israel is the fulfillment of this historic right.

We maintain that there is no excuse for acts of terrorism against Israel and that Israel has the same right as every other nation to defend her citizens from such violent attacks.

We pledge to stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel and to speak out on their behalf whenever and wherever necessary until the attacks stop and they are finally living in peace and security with their neighbors.
