CUFI in Action

Dear Friend,

Since the announcement of the dangerous Iran deal, our more than 2.3 million members have been engaged in our largest grassroots campaign to date: fighting to defeat the disastrous deal with Iran.

The latest news about the deal is the bombshell revelation that one of the two secret side deals signed between Iran and the international agency tasked with verifying Iran’s compliance with the deal included a provision allowing Iran to use Iranian inspectors to investigate its own illicit nuclear activity.

This is simply absurd and undermines any last shred of credibility the deal’s proponents may have had.

CUFI is working around the clock to bring this information, and all the other flaws in the deal, to each-and-every one of our elected officials in an effort to get them to vote against this deal. Every CUFI department, from the field team, to the communications group, to our leadership, is focused on generating as much Congressional opposition to this deal as we can.

Majorities in both Houses of Congress have expressed opposition to the deal, including both Republicans and Democrats. But unfortunately we need a two-thirds majority in the House and Senate  to override the President’s promised veto.

Overriding a presidential veto is no small challenge. In the history of the U.S., just four percent of vetoes have been overridden by Congress. But we are undeterred.

CUFI members have sent nearly 400,000 emails to Congress asking them to vote against the agreement. If you haven't emailed Congress please click here. Thousands more have called Congress asking the same. If you haven't called Congress please click here.

We’ve sent out scores of email alerts notifying CUFI members in relevant districts and states that one of their members of Congress will be holding a town hall meeting. We’ve sent and posted dozens of Congressperson-specific geo-targeted email blasts and Facebook posts asking our supporters in districts with Democrats still on the fence about the deal to call, email, and visit with their elected officials about this topic.

Iran’s nuclear and imperial ambitions constitute the preeminent foreign policy challenge of our day; and we are honored that you are in this fight with us.

We pray that additionally you’ll consider financially supporting us in this endeavor, as your involvement is the only way we’ll be successful.

Blessings to you and those you love,

Pastor John Hagee - National Chairman Christians United for Israel David Brog - Executive Director Christians United for Israel

The Israel Pledge

We believe that the Jewish people have a right to live in their ancient land of Israel, and that the modern State of Israel is the fulfillment of this historic right.

We maintain that there is no excuse for acts of terrorism against Israel and that Israel has the same right as every other nation to defend her citizens from such violent attacks.

We pledge to stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel and to speak out on their behalf whenever and wherever necessary until the attacks stop and they are finally living in peace and security with their neighbors.
