CUFI in Action

Dear Friend,

As we approach the 10th anniversary of CUFI’s founding, the significant work we’ve been blessed to do along with you is more critical than ever.

Over the last decade we have:
•    Become the largest pro-Israel organization in the U.S., with over 2.5 million members and 1.2 million Facebook fans.
•    Educated millions of American Christians about the biblical and moral imperative to support Israel.
•    Equipped millions of American Christians to defend Israel in their churches and communities, online and in our nation’s capital.
•    Held thousands of pro-Israel events in communities from coast to coast.
•    Built CUFI chapters on over 160 college campuses across the country.

And we’re just getting started.

Like never before, America’s support for Israel depends upon the focused, informed, and dedicated activism of CUFI members. We need to know how to defend Israel from an increasingly sophisticated campaign to delegitimize and discredit her.  That is why we are so proud to announce that we've developed a CUFI curriculum, The Nehemiah Generation, to give you the background and history you need to be an effective voice for Israel. This curriculum will enable you to be a modern-day Nehemiah, building not with stone but with facts.

We are also tackling a new and terrible slander of Israel that is spreading across America's college campuses and beyond: the claim that Israel is a racist, apartheid country like South Africa once was.  Last month, a CUFI initiative called The Israel Collective released a powerful new video that destroys this dangerous lie.

We believe that the reality exposed in this film will penetrate even the most hardened of hearts. The film dramatically exposes the lie that Israel is like the South Africa of old with the truth about the equality, prosperity and freedom enjoyed by all Israeli citizens, Arabs and Jews alike. The powerful film was shot on location in South Africa. It can be viewed here.

Also last month, we launched our new Diversity Outreach program, DOME (Diversity Outreach Mentoring Endeavor). Under the leadership of Pastor Dumisani Washington DOME will train up a group of African American, Hispanic, Asian and other diverse supporters to Israel who can go back to their communities and share the truth about Israel.   DOME will help us build a pro-Israel community every bit as diverse as Israel itself.

Finally, last week CUFI on Campus hosted 150 top student leaders at our annual Student Advocacy Leadership Training (SALT) Seminar in San Antonio. This year's SALT training focused on equipping our students to combat the increasing efforts to delegitimize Israel on America's college campuses.  Over the course of three days, we provided these Christian student leaders with the skills, resources, relationships, and biblical teachings they need in order to speak up on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people at this crucial time.

CUFI members have enabled all of these exciting initiatives. We pray that you help us stand up for Israel in her time of need. Thank you for standing with millions of Christians as part of CUFI.

Pastor John Hagee, National Chairman | David Brog, Director

The Israel Pledge

We believe that the Jewish people have a right to live in their ancient land of Israel, and that the modern State of Israel is the fulfillment of this historic right.

We maintain that there is no excuse for acts of terrorism against Israel and that Israel has the same right as every other nation to defend her citizens from such violent attacks.

We pledge to stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel and to speak out on their behalf whenever and wherever necessary until the attacks stop and they are finally living in peace and security with their neighbors.
