Last month, we
held our 11th annual Washington Summit. What a powerful event this was.
For a full day we were educated about Israel by some of the best in
the business. At our National Night to Honor Israel, we were motivated
by captivating speeches and inspirational music. The next day,
thousands of us descended upon Capital Hill to proudly tell our leaders
that we expect them to stand with Israel.
are few sights as sweet as seeing the halls Congress filled with CUFI
members carrying their CUFI bags rushing off to meet with Congressmen
and their staffs.
an address to the CUFI Summit, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin
Netanyahu recognized what we've accomplished through your support. You
are making a difference and the Israelis know it and appreciate it!
year we were joined in DC by over 500 students leaders from campuses
across the country. We give them training in how to advocate for Israel
back on campus. But they give us something far more valuable: They
Yes there are challenges ahead. But we know we are
raising up a strong generation of Christian pro-Israel leaders
to meet these challenges.
Our fight for
the hearts and minds of the rising generation doesn't end after our
Summit. Shortly thereafter, we sent off 35 of our top student leaders
for a 10-day trip to Israel. This trip -- like all trips to Israel --
educates them, inspires them, and connects them to Israel for life.
Upon their return, these students go on to be our most active and
effective leaders on campus.
