North Dakota - November 20th - 22nd
A series of “Standing With Israel” and CUFI Pastors’ Lunches were held for
the first time in the magnificent state of North Dakota. Although the
media and most politicians have historically paid scant attention to this Great
Plains state, God is revealing His bounty there in these days of otherwise
“doom and gloom.” Signs are posted everywhere saying “Help Wanted, Jobs
Available!” The oil and energy industries are booming. Heavy snows
last year and a late winter this year have allowed the great fields to be fully
harvested. On Saturday plans were being made by Pastors who attended the
first CUFI breakfast in the state capital to hold a Night To Honor Israel in
2010. Sunday morning’s newspaper headlined a story about more vast oil
reserves being discovered in the state. God does bless those who bless
(and plan to bless) His “Treasured Possession” Israel. CUFI members drove
hundreds of miles (even from Canada) to be part of the meetings to learn more
and to be a part of honoring God’s mandate to be a blessing to Abraham’s
descendants. Pastor Ron and Julie Enget, who have attended the past 3
CUFI Washington Summits were the catalysts in hosting all of these
meetings. On Friday they hosted the Pastors’ Luncheon in Beulah. On
Saturday they arranged for and invited the ministry leaders to a brunch in the
capital city of Bismarck. That night they arranged for a SWI meeting in
Bismarck’s Lutheran North Campus facility, where they have recently planted a
New Life congregation. On Sunday morning they turned over three of their
Sunday services to the CUFI Central States Coordinator to teach on the
subject. What a blessing God is pouring out on that state as He opens the
window of His storehouse and what a joy it is to see God honoring His promises
to these Bible-believing North Dakotans.
