Spanish Pastors and Leaders Breakfast
August 25 - Des Moines, IA
The Spanish Pastors & Leaders Breakfast on Friday morning, August 25th, was yet another epic CUFI Hispanic Outreach event in our nation for so many reasons! To begin with, it was the first ever Spanish-speaking CUFI event in Des Moines, Iowa. Secondly, it was the first ever Spanish-speaking CUFI event to take place during an Assemblies of God Hispanic Men’s Convention which was hosted by the Midwest Latin American District Council. Thirdly, it was attended by at least 94 Hispanic pastors and leaders including the district superintendent, assistant superintendent, secretary/treasurer, district men’s director, district youth director, and presbyters. One of the highlights of this event, was two thirds of the attendees become members of CUFI and about half of them gave an initial offering towards the work of CUFI on Campus. Additionally, several Pastors inquired about hosting a CUFI event at their local churches later this
year. To say this event went well is an understatement. It went extremely well!
