Letter of appreciation to Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu

Dear Prime Minister Netanyahu --

On behalf of Christians United for Israel, I want to thank you and the people of Israel for all you are doing to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

Watching the scenes of death and devastation on television has disturbed us all. One of the few bright spots has been watching Israelis arrive in Haiti and immediately get to work rescuing victims and providing them with life-saving medical care. Seeing Israel at the forefront of these humanitarian efforts fills us all with hope and pride.

As Christians and Jews we share a love for Israel and all humanity. We believe that our support for Israel is a central part of our service to mankind in general. Indeed, the Bible we both cherish teaches that through Israel all of the nations of the world will be blessed. We thank you for vindicating our values and demonstrating once again the truth of this scripture.

We pledge that we will continue to stand with you during the difficult times as you struggle against enemies dedicated to your destruction. And we look forward to continuing to celebrate with you whenever you are able to rise above the threats to your very existence to fulfill your deeper purpose.
