A Night to Honor Israel

Night to Honor Israel Testimonies

The Night to Honor Israel is an extraordinary event where Jews and Christians come together to celebrate our heritage, to express our covenant of loyalty to each other, and to give comfort and aide to Israel. It's a wonderful experience! Thank you, Pastor Hagee for your vision and obedience to Almighty God.
-Carl, San Antonio, TX

It was amazing to look around the sanctuary and see Christians and Jews worshiping and supporting this great cause together. I will never forget that feeling and realizing how pleased God must be to see his children together. The music was AWESOME. The speeches were POWERFUL. I will definitely be coming back next year!
-Connie A

The entire evening was motivating and spiritually moving. The overall effect was joy unspeakable and full of glory that the Christians of our wonderful United States of America stood so boldly for God's chosen people the Jews, and their right to abide in the land given to them by God Almighty. The extremely generous amount of money raised by CUFI in one year, and given to 28 worthy causes was a blessing to watch. God promised to bless those who bless the Jews, and CUFI is blessed to be a blessing and their blessing will continue eternally.

I have had a love of Israel for many, many years. To be able to publically support and stand for her was a beautiful way to confirm my belief that we must support and pray for her, as we are instructed in the Word. God desires this of us. To hear the words of the Rabbi were incredibly special. The whole experience was very meaningful.
-Jennifer Y

I hope the movement continues and that Jewish and Christian members can put aside their support fears and embrace the fact that we are not alone in our struggles. Similarities exists between us that cannot be over looked, to which unity is the only logical action supporting each other in strength to demonstrate our right to live, exist, and pursue our faith endowed from GOD. Inaction is no longer an option. Freedom is the answer, and together we support that promised reality.
-Jessie C

Words cannot express just how truly blessed I am to have had the opportunity to be present at this Night to Honor Israel! As a Christian mother, my heart was so moved by the trauma center project. I have begun to pray for Israel with a true passion for God's chosen people! My passion and desire to visit Israel has grown by leaps and bounds, I cannot wait for God to provide the means and opportunity! Being a single mom and full time college student my plate is already full; however, I am seeking God as to how I can help this ministry and God's chosen people. Thank you so much for coming to Statesboro, Georgia! God Bless you all!
-Christine, Statesboro, Georgia

Attending the "Night to Honor Israel" was a privilege and an honor to hear how the Christian community supports the state of Israel and its people. God truly blesses us as we obey His word and honor Israel with our support and the support of others. God Bless Israel!!! Thank You Pastor Hagee for your unrelenting labor of love and prayers for Israel.
-Marlene

The number of people who will stand up and be counted for the support of Israel, Jerusalem and the Jewish nation, God's chosen people. The gracious keynote speaker, a man of God, Elie Wiesel.
-Gloria, San Antonio, TX

The sense of genuine friendship & affection between the Christians & Jews present at the event, the inspirational & informative speakers (especially Dennis Prager & Pastor Greg Stevens), and the music (Wild Branches)....
-Michelle, El Cajon, CA

The exposure to Jewish culture (i.e.-music, singing, dancing, clothing, etc.), and important current events to help raise consciousness concerning Israel's plight today. Scriptural teaching on this is really good to provide context and focus on God's point of view about Israel and our (America's and the Church's) need to support Israel in every area possible! "I will bless those that bless you, and he that curses you I too will curse" must not be forgotten! Amen!
-Bill & Barbara, Thornton, CO

I enjoy The Night to Honor Israel every year. It gives me the opportunity to demonstrate my love to the Jewish people who have brought Jesus to me and my family. When Elli Wiesel. Spoke of his concerns about being around Christian people it made me sad because I appreciate who they are and what they have endured. I hope they can say of us that we love them and pray that God will protect and defend them, and allow them to keep the land that God promised them.

It was informative and inspiring. We hope that our government officials in Washington, DC and New York City were watching and heard the messages and "cheers" of support for Israel.

I firmly believe that God's Word is true. He will bless those who bless you (all of Abraham's descendents) and curse those who curse you. As for me, "For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, until her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch." Isaiah 62:1
-Gloria - San Antonio, TX

This was my 2nd year, I was so privileged to attend the Night to Honor Israel - my heart cries out for Israel and to do anything to show the Jewish people that I am standing with them. It is such an honor.
Beth - Sherwood, AZ

Thank you for all you are doing for Israel.  I have lived in Austin from 1972 to 2008, and now live in Israel. I am very moved an impressed with the work that you and your friends in the Christian community do for Israel. My husband and I attended the Night to Honor Israel in SA for times. We also attended the one at the CUFI convention in Washington DC three years ago. As an Israeli, I am very grateful for the love and support you show for us.  May God bless you. Happy New Year!
Michelle-Tel Aviv, Israel

My husband & I (& another couple) have attended all four NTHI in Rochester, NY. We have a love for the Jewish people & Israel that can only come from God. We've been to Israel twice, & desire to go again (next time we'd like to do more "hands on" ministering). We are very thankful for Bethel Christian Fellowship (& all the others involved) for hosting the NTHI. It is well worth the 4 hour round trip drive!! Thank you all!
Linda - West Clarksville, NY

It was a huge eye opener to the past present and future of the Jewish people. Thank you so much!
Lori –Highlands Ranch, CO

I felt very privileged to be present for such an event to honor Israel, and to see the outpouring of support on a national level.
Ed –San Antonio, TX

As an Elder and former Pastor I have always been a strong supporter of Israel. Since moving to Texas 3 years ago I have been attending the Night to Honor Israel every year. This year was very special for my wife and I in that my oldest daughter who was recently baptized and her two twin daughters came with us. She has also been a supporter of Israel prior to her baptism. To see my 8 year old granddaughters clapping with the music and enjoying themselves was very special. I am very thankful for the work CUFI has been doing and the very positive impact The Night to Honor Israel had on my daughter and twin granddaughters.
Albert- Fredericksburg, TX

Our family of 6 attended. It was a wonderful experience. We learned more about our family of God through the process of the evening. My 15 year old son, who self taught himself the alphabet, numbers and some words in Hebrew in 8th grade and loves Israel, had to teach me about why the kids who danced and sang for us, ranging in ages from 13-20 were born in Israel, but not their parents. They were from many different places. Russia, Iraq, Poland... I had been so caught up in my American life, that I didn't take time to learn of their plight and victory of coming home to Israel. I knew of it, but didn't pay much attention to it all up until yesterday. I learned quite a lot last night and loved the unity in the family come together. Lots of tears. These are the people my pastor has been teaching us to love and pray for. Prior to coming to our church in 2006, I really didn't know much about the Jewish people. I thought I had to get them all saved. Our pastor is Mac Hammond, of Living Word Christian Center, where the Night to Honor Israel was held, last night. On Sunday morning, he really explained the process of the two covenants with God that the Jews and we have and the Gentiles in the world who do not have one and that the Jewish people gave us everything we have in knowing our Lord. I wept as I saw those precious kids, so far from home, ministering to us and telling us as Americans thank you for standing with them. I realized that my little world had just gotten much bigger and that I am very thankful to have been a part of last night’s gathering. As a mother of 4, I really felt the kids’ parents love for us evident, in allowing their children to venture so far from home to love on us! I do dearly love Israel and pray for her and her people!
Bernadette – Hutchinson, MN

The speaker gave a history of Church persecution of Jews. By the time people were immigrating to America the Church was finally interpreting Biblical Israel as "literal Israel" not as Christians being "spiritual Israel". He spoke of Corrie Tenboom's family's sacrifice for saving over 800 Jews during Hitler's reign. He spoke of Christians unified with Israel as part of those "Righteous Gentiles". I was so very moved. My involvement seems so minuscule and the thought that I could be included among such honorable people as the Righteous Gentiles was an encouragement that even small acts are important!
Jacqueline –Pal Bay, FL

I had been wanting to attend for some time but was a little anxious about attending. I did not know what to expect. I knew very little of the Jewish history, so I studied and have been reading about their history and my heart has been broken for them. I have fallen in love in such a way that I can hardly understand. I know that God has moved me to be a part of this ministry in any way I can support it. I will faithfully pray for the peace of Jerusalem and her people and leaders. Shalom
Adeline

I saw God's mighty power at work during The Night to Honor Israel. God's people congregated to pay honor to the Almighty and to support His People, the Chosen People.
Geraldine –San Antonio, TX

The work of pastor Hagee in the area of improving relations between Christians and Jews is a blessing to all. It made me think of how I could help this effort as a Sunday school teacher in my own church, and to teach about the "Jewishness" of our faith, and the sin of anti-Semitism to my students.
Lamar –Liberty Hill, TX

I was HOMESICK for Israel. I was caught up in worship and solidarity with other Christians and could have stayed there many more hours. It was a most AWESOME experience and I thank Faith Chapel for hosting the event. Thank you Pastor Hagee for coming to Denver. I am 69 years old and this season of my life is serving the Jewish people and support them with not only my finances but work. I learned we are NOT alone when I saw all the wonderful Christian people there honoring Israel. I am spreading the word not only to people in Denver but when we return to Israel in November tell the Israeli people that we are standing for them. I can now tell them it is not only reading about it but actually seeing the number of people pro Israel. THANK YOU
Joan – Lone Tree, CO

It was wonderful to see so many believers, both Jew and Gentile; come together to share an evening celebrating God's chosen country. A little taste of Heavenly fellowship!

As a Jewish woman, I was honored to attend. I was moved to tears by the love people and clergy at The Faith Bible Chapel proclaimed toward Israel - it meant so much to me and my family to witness it. They will be forever in my prayers. Thank you!

I watched the Night to Honor Israel on T.V last year and I was truly amazed, I had such a hunger in my heart to attend, but I knew I couldn't travel far. I guess God knew how strong that passion was. When I got the invitation to the one in Lakeland, fla- I was shocked, I felt like God brought it to me. I can truly say, God gives us the desires of our heart. The Night to Honor Israel was truly an honor for me to know that God allowed me to feel His heart.
Joel

To hear the shofar blow as the evening began was fabulous. Mr. Yardent was very enlightening as he shared from the Jewish perspective.
Carol –Sachse, TX

The event itself is wonderful! I love all the speakers and support. The information is very useful when telling others about Israel. It is a life changing event,
Anna

My step father who raised me (and will always be my father in my heart) was Jewish, so I originally started attending CUFI to honor him, as he has been deceased for many years, but have truly grown to love and appreciate the celebration. We, as Christians, owe so much to our Israeli brethren and I am grateful for the opportunity to celebrate them. It is wonderful!
Shelli

This was my first one, I brought my wife and kids too, just seeing and hearing about Israel the dancing and singing was great. I have come away with a heart for Israel, prayer and financial support. It was an eye opener for me and my family. We are glad to have shared this night with other Christians and Israelis and will attend many more.

I did not prior to the Night to Honor Israel know anything first hand from anyone from Israel, but to have them tell of the daily struggles they have just to survive it touched my heart. I pray that I will be a good Christian that represents the Jewish people and that our nation will support Israel as we should.
Sharron –Flagstaff, AZ

"The Night to Honor Israel was highly motivational. The speakers were excellent and the program as a whole was very enlightening. I was deeply moved as Holy Spirit touched my spirit with compassion and empathy for our Jewish brothers and sisters.

I came to understand more about the trauma that terrorist groups continue to inflict on Israel. I stand in awe of the faith and courage of the Israelis. I am grateful for Prime Minister Netanyahu and other leaders.
Ann –Perry, GA

I have had a love for Israel since about 5 years ago because I met a woman who was not Jewish but Loved God So Much She Celebrated Every Feast with her family and from the things she shared about what my name meant in Hebrew my love for Israel grew. I love the Hebrew language because it is so poetic and I have the pen of a ready writer like King David. Events like last night "The Night To Honor Israel" and the times we are living where the Nations are coming against Israel even more and the threats against Israel just tells me that the end times are drawing near and we should love Israel and bless Israel and pray for Israel even more intensely. Thank you for giving my husband and I another glimpse into the Jewish life and the Love God Has for his people. Last night was a wonderful tribute our Everlasting wonderful God, Abba Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Blessings and Honor to Israel
Bill & Donna –Portland, OR

I was honored to sit with God's chosen people as an encouragement that they are not alone. I feel certain that if it was not for the faithful remnant of Israel throughout history, I would not have salvation in Christ Jesus. They expected God to keep His word and the remnant of today still does. I pray for their recognition that Love came and today calls them to Himself.
Judy –Ramona, CA

To be able to publically support and stand for her was a beautiful way to confirm my belief that we must support and pray for her, as we are instructed in the Word. God desires this of us. To hear the words of the Rabbi were incredibly special. To hear the reading of the Word, in Hebrew! I am a student of learning of the Hebraic Roots of my Christian faith, so the whole experience was very meaningful.

I have had a Love for Israel and the Jewish people for a long time but over the last 2 years that love has grown stronger and stronger. They are G-d's chosen people and we need to stand up for them and with them in these dark days before our Lord's return.
Douglas

From the beginning to the end there was a different feeling in the atmosphere. It wasn't bad at all. It was a feeling of joy and of togetherness. There was no separation of Jew and Christian We were also able to raise $20,000 for a bomb shelter in Israel. I could literally go on for pages! God is AMAZING, and I will continue to stand for Israel because God tells me to and it’s the right thing to do.
Christopher

The Lord has put a deep love in my heart for Israel and the Jewish people. The Night to Honor Israel reinforced that love.
Diane –Arvada, CO

I am a teenager, and it set a fire in my heart to love and pray for Israel. To be honest...I knew close to nothing about what was going on. I want to change that about the teenagers in America.
Sarah

Was a tremendous conformation to me about the things God is doing in the earth today to get us prepared for His coming. Unification of the Jews and Christians.  The two olive trees, how beautiful and faithful our God is. His covenant to us is forever.
Christina

These events are a "must attend" venue for more Christians, all Jews, Rabbis, Federation Leadership and politicians. They all need to hear, understand, and promote this important message.
Les

I was so excited when I found out that CUFI was holding a Night To Honor Israel was coming to Pensacola! I almost could not contain myself! Jews and Christians coming together to praise God. I have always had a special place in my heart for the Jewish people and now, more than ever, I want to go to Israel.
