August 24th Browns Summit, NC Spanish Pastors Luncheon

On Saturday, August 24th, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus conducted our first-ever Spanish Pastors Meeting Luncheon in Browns Summit, North Carolina. This historic event was hosted by Pastor Joel Pava who went to Israel earlier this year on our CUFI Latino Pastors Israel Tour. As a result of his visit to Israel with CUFI, he hosted two events this year with this one being his second in addition to the Spanish “Why Israel” event he hosted this past May. As the Director of Hispanic Ministries for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church’s Cornerstone Conference in North Carolina, Pastor Pava gathered for this particular event 29 Pastors and Ministers from the Hispanic churches in their conference during their annual Hispanic Ministries Convention. As a result, many of the pastors and ministers who attended this event became CUFI members while others joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network and also gave offerings to the work of our CUFI On Campus efforts. One Pastor was so impacted by the presentation that he requested a copy of it and is now interested in hosting a CUFI event at his local church in the future. Thus, this epic event was quite successful to say the least!
