Day 2 ~ Tuesday, November 10, 2020
Tel Aviv / Galilee
Afternoon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. Transfer to the hotel in Tiberias, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Day 3 ~ Wednesday, November 11, 2020
Begin the day with a special welcome greeting at Magdala.  Next, visit the Mount of Beatitudes, continuing to Tabgha, the traditional site of the miracle of loaves and fishes and Capernaum to see the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to Beitsaida, site of the healing of the blind man and birthplace of Peter, Andrew and Philip. This evening, special speaker Lt. Col. Eyal Dror.

Day 4 ~ Thursday, November 12, 2020
This morning, a special meeting with Greek Orthodox Priest, Father Gabriel Nadaff. Then set sail on the Sea of Galilee with an inspirational time of reflection, arriving at Ginossar to see the ancient boat from the time of Jesus. Next, onto the Golan Heights seeing the former Syrian fortifications understanding the strategic importance of this area and meet with a military analyst. View the road to Damascus, driving past Mt. Hermon to Mt. Bental, an excellent lookout point towards Syria in the east, the Hermon slopes in the north, and the northern Golan Heights. Visit to an IDF military base, with an opportunity to meet with IDF soldiers. Continue to Yardenit, for Baptism in the Jordan River. This evening, enjoy a Galilean BBQ dinner.

Day 5 ~ Friday, November 13, 2020
Galilee / Jerusalem
Begin the day with a visit to Caesarea – Roman capital of Judea, before continuing up to Jerusalem. Recite a Shehechiyanu blessing upon entering the city of Jerusalem. Continue to the Memorial to the Holocaust at Yad Vashem, followed by a walk along the Path of Redemption to Mount Herzl. Welcome the Sabbath at the Western Wall, Kotel, followed by a traditional Shabbat dinner at an Israeli family’s home.

Day 6 ~ Saturday, November 14, 2020       
Morning meeting with Khaled Abu Toameh, journalist, lecturer and documentary filmmaker. Next, visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, and Caiphas’ House and the site of the Upper Room of the Last Supper.  Enter the walled Old City of Jerusalem through Lions Gate to St. Anne’s Church and the Pool of Bethesda. Continue through the souks of the Old City en route to Zion’s Gate. Following dinner this evening, attend the Night Spectacular Sound & Light Show at the Tower of David Fortress.

Day 7 ~ Sunday, November 15, 2020
Today’s full day begins with a photo opportunity at the newly dedicated United States Embassy in Jerusalem.  Next, tour the Security Fence with IDF Colonel (res.) Danny Tirza, IDF Chief Architect for the Security Fence.  Then, enter the Jewish Quarter at the “Cardo”, meaning the “heart” of this ancient Byzantine city and into the Christian Quarter. Visit the archaeology site unearthing Ir David, City of David, taking the tunnel to the foot of the Temple Mount. Next, be one of the many volunteers who have participated in this incredible operation of the Temple Mount Sifting Project at Emek Tzurim Park where, so far, there have been over 3,500 finds from ancient times. End the day with a visit to the Model of Jerusalem at the Israel Museum.

Day 8 ~ Monday, November 16, 2020
Begin the day with a special communion service at the Garden Tomb. Next, drive into the Judean wilderness for a visit to Masada, the mountain top ruin of Herod’s Palace and the last fortress of the Jewish revolt against Rome. Following Masada, enjoy a float in the Dead Sea.

Day 9 ~ Tuesday, November 17, 2020
Departure to the city of Sderot including overviews of Gaza for a strategic tour of the area. En route to Sderot, view the Elah Valley, the place described in the Bible where the Israelites were encamped when David fought Goliath. Next, visit the Moshav of Nativ HaAsara, located in the north-west Negev. A moshav is a type of agricultural community in Israeli consisting of a group of individual farms. Enjoy a farewell dinner in Jaffa, before transferring to the airport with assistance in departure.  (B, D)
