February 26 – Baytown, TX – Why Israel?
On Wednesday, February 26th, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator, Rev. Peter De Jesus, conducted two CUFI events which included a Spanish Why Israel event in Baytown, Texas. This particular event was hosted by Pastor Nestor Gonzalez of Iglesia Jesucristo es el Señor, and it was a direct result of him attending another CUFI event last October in Trinity, Texas, during which he was so impacted by our Pro-Israel presentation that he desired to host an event for his local congregation. Thus this particular event was scheduled, and approximately 60 people attended this event, as many of them joined their Pastor in becoming CUFI members and giving a unified congregational offering towards our CUFI On Campus efforts. Additionally, after the event, the host pastor shared his desire to host another event for pastors in his region later this year. So it goes without saying that this event was quite successful!
