Friday, January 12, 2018, marked this new year calendar as the first of many events in Los Angeles, California that our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach plans to have in this highly Hispanic populated influential city. Based on the recommendation of our CUFI Los Angeles City Director, Pastor Ricardo Escobedo, this first fruits event for the year was hosted by Pastors Daniel and Alicia Navar and the church family of Ministerios Confirmando La Palabra. We were blessed to have visiting this event, Pastor Mario Jocol with some of his congregants, and a few of our Jewish CUFI Members. CUFI’s biblical mandate was shared in English and Spanish by, Rev. Peter De Jesus, who is our National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator, and the receptivity and responsiveness of this event’s attendees was exemplary. Many of them became CUFI Members and gave an offering to our CUFI On Campus work, while others joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network. This was definitely a great way to start off our National Hispanic Outreach in Los Angeles in 2018 as we believe the best is yet to be!
