Jan 8th North Bethesda, MD Breakfast and Luncheon Events

Breakfast: Ronald Halber, Executive Director of JCRC of Greater Washington gathered 50 of the top lay leaders of the Jewish community for an opportunity to hear about the work of CUFI from CUFI representatives, Pastor Victor Styrsky/National Outreach Director – Eastern Regional Coordinator and Executive Co-Director Shari Dollinger. It was the first time for most of the Jewish participants to have the opportunity to ask questions about Christian Zionism and specifically Christians United For Israel. The team that worked to put the event together were so excited about the results that they are now talking about taking this same format to other Jewish communities in over 25 cities throughout the US.

Luncheon: This gathering of young professional Zionists within the Jewish community was “off the record” and allowed a very diverse group to be brought together for an intimate discussion regarding the possibilities of working together on pro-Israel concerns. The luncheon was followed by an interview by Ron Kampeas, JTA concerning the day’s exciting events between the Jewish community leaders and Christians United For Israel.
