As we raced through our states in the final gleaning for Summit registrations CUFI held a number of events in Virginia that bolstered our attendance at the Summit. We had a SOLD OUT Bus with 72-signups for the DC Night to Honor Israel along with appointing 2 new CUFI City Directors who also registered for the Summit with others from their congregations where I spoke! One of the pastors I met for the first time at our luncheon in Charlottesville, VA drove in from Alexandra, VA to learn more about CUFI. He too registered for the summit and brought his entire leadership to the summit. Their church is about 10-minutes from the Washington Convention Center and will now be an anchor for my work in DC. This pastor is also a Superintend in his denomination – and is about to become my new best friend!
