June 14th Georgetown, DE Bilingual Why Israel Event

On Friday, June 14th, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus and his wife Rev. Mildred De Jesus, who is the Hispanic Outreach Director for our CUFI Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, conducted our-second ever Hispanic Outreach event in Georgetown, Delaware. This event was a “Why Israel” bilingual event hosted by our Georgetown Hispanic Outreach City Director Pastor Arturo Santiago of Crossroad Community Church Ministerio Hispano under the leadership of his Senior Pastor Rick Betts of Crossroad Community Church. Approximately 75 people attended this wonderful bilingual event which was filled with jubilant praise, joyous dance, Jewish celebration, and Pro-Israel education. The great impact of this event was such that many of the attendees joined their Pastors in becoming CUFI members, joining our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and giving offerings to our CUFI On Campus work. Additionally, it was wonderful news hear that Crossroad Community Church is sending at least one bus load of congregants from both their English-speaking and Spanish-speaking ministries to our upcoming Washington DC Summit. Thus, this event was very successful to say the least!
