May 18th Browns Summit, NC Spanish Why Israel Event

Categories: Events

On Saturday, May 18th, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus conducted a “Why Israel” Spanish-speaking event in Browns Summit, North Carolina. This event was co-hosted by Pastors Joel and Gabriela Pava, who are the Conference Director and Women’s Ministry Director of the Hispanic Ministries of the Cornerstone Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC). It’s worth noting Pastor Joel Pava was one of 28 Pastors who earlier this year went on our Latino-Hispanic Pastors Israel Tour. As for the details of this particular event, it occurred during their annual Women’s Convention which was attended by at least 140 women. As a result of the attendees receiving our CUFI presentation and biblical mandate to stand with Israel, many of them became CUFI members, joined our Daughters For Zion Prayer Network, and gave offerings toward our CUFI On Campus efforts. Additionally, the impact of this event was so great that Pastor Joel Pava has extended to us another invitation to bring the same CUFI event to their Men’s Convention later this year on Saturday, August 24th. We look forward to greater things to come in our National Hispanic Outreach within the Cornerstone Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church!
