On Wednesday, May 29th our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus and his wife Rev. Mildred De Jesus, our Daughter’s For Zion (DFZ) Prayer Network Hispanic Outreach Director, conducted our first-ever Why Israel bilingual event in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This historic event was hosted by Pastors Lemuel and Walleska Rivera of Iglesia de Dios Nueva Vida de Wesley Chapel. It’s worth noting that this event was organized by our Tampa Hispanic Outreach City Director Pastor Jesus Fernández who is an alumni of this past March’s Latino Hispanic Pastors Israel Tour. As for this event, it was very well received as many of the congregants became members of CUFI, joined our DFZ Prayer Network, and gave offerings to our CUFI On Campus efforts. Additionally, the host pastors were so impacted that they committed to having their congregation financially support CUFI on a regular basis, and they also requested to host another CUFI event next year or even sooner. All in all, this first-time Hispanic Outreach event made a great impact for our Pro-Israel cause!
