Event Recaps

October 1 – San Benito, TX

On Tuesday, October 1st, our CUFI National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Rev. Peter De Jesus conducted our first-ever Hispanic Outreach Pastors Meeting Dinner in San Benito, Texas. This event occurred at Cross Church and was hosted by Senior Pastor Jaime Loya. As a result, over 20 Pastors and Ministers from throughout the Texas Rio Grande area attended this historic event including our Harlingen, TX Hispanic Outreach City Director Pastor Edward Hinojosa. We were very blessed to see so many of the attending Pastors and Ministers respond favorably to our CUFI presentation as many of them became CUFI members. Additionally, it was great to hear Pastor Loya announce his plans to lead his first-ever trip to Israel next year. And lastly, it was encouraging to confirm that one of the Pastors at this meeting will be joining us for this first of two Latino Pastors Israel Tours in 2020. Thus, this event was quite successful, and we look forward to greater things to come for our CUFI Hispanic Outreach in this key Hispanic region!
